About Mother Denim

MOTHER was founded in 2010 by Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding. With extensive backgrounds in the denim industry, they were determined to do it all differently. MOTHER has quickly become famous for its irreverent disposition and super-soft fabrics. The brand evokes the memories of growing up in California in the 70s. The name MOTHER plays off the idea of duality - it represents both nurturing and rebellion. The brand’s collections always present a juxtaposition of hard and soft.
